I came down here to GA to get away from the 2 feet of snow shoveled off my roof, and all the other surrounding snow..... well actually to help and visit with my brother that had heart surgery recently.  As I was driving him around in his truck, I came upon a Black/Silver Valkyrie Interstate with 2 up on North Belair Rd.   It sure was a beautiful day for a bike ride here.... but my brother won't be doing that for awhile..... and I won't be doing it til the snow and slop clears back in Pittsburgh.

So, is that Valk rider I saw today a member here?

It sure was a beautiful day for a ride..... I did take a few walks with my brother tho..... with just a T shirt / jeans / sneakers on.  Sure beats the heck out of thermals, gloves and cap.....   Wink  Now I really have the itchin for riding.

Can't let you guys have all the fun with this weather..... I might have to consider moving south to enjoy the riding season....

Those are good rides! I'm stuck in the neighborhood while on-call, I rode the Valkyrie to Church, and
then headed out on backroads while trying to decide whether to eat lunch at Yousef's in Westminster,
or The Steak House (a meat and three that doesn't serve steak) in Walhalla... along the way I found
a restaurant I didn't know about in a Lake Hartwell neighborhood called Foxwood Hills... the parking lot
was full, and the food was good... cornbread fixed like flatbread... awesome...

-Mike "don't think I found any new roads though..."

I passed a place in Washington Ga that had a parking lot full of cars and figured it was probably a good place to eat, BUT, I didn't want to get bogged down waiting for something to eat.... Sad
