Tire help ?

h13man:
Avon Chromes were released in 2021. The old AV72 Cobra's were a pretty good tire IMO but the Diamonds price point is kinda steep. Finding any tire @ a decent price is becoming a challenge.

Walmart didn't have it.  I did finally find a Cruisetec, on Ebay of all places...
Metzeler Cruisetec 150/80R17 72V TL V-Twin Motorcycle Front Tire with Keychain
$283.19

Well do us (Metzeler fans) all a favor and report back on how you like it after a while.

About the same, worse or better than the 888?

I was oogling over a brand new Indian Challenger the other day.  It comes with the Metzeler Cruisetech tires, so I gues they are pretty damn good.  Haven't got my new front one yet, will report in once mounted and ridden.

So, why does a tire need a keychain?

You need to hang something on the nail.   ;D

I jumped off my Kubota BX tractor, key in hand.  I dropped the key in the tallish grass and the earth just swallowed it.  Key was gone.  Tractor was going no where now.  That's when I found out all BX tractors use the same key, just go to the dealer and buy one.  I also got in the habit of putting big ugly key chains on little keys like this.  I'll find a use for it !

WintrSol:
I keep all copies of my keys on a ring I wear on my belt, just in case. Just don't lose the key ring.

Oceandiver11764:
Put on the new Cruisetec tire and took it for a ride.  Straight as an arrow.  Beautiful tire.
