Enjoy 318 Curves in 11 Miles.

I did it today and that is a total of 636 turns I think.

Very cool!  I just finished reading a great book, The Old Man and the Harley, which stars a '30 Harley and its owner's coast to coast trip in '39, and his son's trip following the "old man's" route in reverse about 60 yrs later.  A highly recommended read.  cooldude

Highcountry,
I picked up a copy cheap, thinking, "When I finish this my Dad might enjoy reading it."  I didn't get around to reading it. Before Christmas my parents went to Ollies, saw the book, and thought of me. So we wound up with two copies. We read it together and  discussed. Pretty good book overall. I did like the WWII China/Flying Tigers information. I didn't know much about that part of the war.

Big Al,
Is Wheels Through Time still moving out west? I haven't been up there in a while.

Everybody there is friendly and knowledgable. I love having them crank things for me so I can see how they sound. A museum that runs.
The only bike I've not heard run there (that I want to) is the WWII HD with the boxter engine. The tour guides wouldn't crank it, and I couldn't find the owner that day to have him crank it for me. One day I'll know what they sound like.
When they pop up in movies I assume the folio guy/gal is overdubbing the wrong generic motorcycle sound.
