U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
You received this email because you have requested to be notified by NHTSA if there is a safety recall regarding Tires.

Please click on the following NHTSA Recall ID links to view the recall information.
NHTSA Recall ID Number :   25T015
Synopsis :   Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Dunlop TT93FGP PRO and TT93FGP PRO MS motorcycle tires, size 120/80-12 55J and 100/90-12 49J. During manufacturing, some of the sidewall compound may have contaminated the tread surface, reducing the tire's traction. Tires that do not provide sufficient traction increase the risk of a crash. Dealers will replace the tires or provide reimbursement, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on September 15, 2025. Owners may contact Sumitomo customer service at 1-800-845-8378.

Pretty much my feeling for Dunflop. Never had one until the 06' Spirit with 2800 mi. Front end wobble, both tires done by 12,000 mi. and the front was cupped really bad. Pirelli 66's for my Shadow and Avon/Bridgestone for the Valk. Metzler 880 has had QC issues in the bias tire/Shadow fitment and 888's and Michelin Commander II (?) though higher mileage claim, harder compound that resulted not so good traction in cold and/or wet on the VT1100's.

Fail me, never will I buy a brand again.

Ride a mini motorcycle?  The 12 inch tires being recalled fit the smallest of those.

This recall is responsible.  If even the smallest possibility for injury is known by the manufacturer and the users are not made aware, that's a serious legal problem.
