There is a certain appeal to things we coveted as kids. Sometimes reliving the youth we had, or wish we had.
For me, those Ct70’s were $379 new in the early 1970’s. And a 5hp Briggs and Stratton mini bike was $109. And so, beggars cant be choosers, 109 dollars later.
I’ve resurrected quite a few Ct70’s since. Great machines, easily ten times the machine as that 5hp mini bike.
I kept one of the first ones I found about 25 years ago. It is a rider, far from a show machine. Probably worth $2000-2500. True, pure pristine machines for show are worth more, but really . . . what is the point of that.
