The HondaF6B.com website will probably shut down at the end of this month. Traffic has declined so significantly that the single sponsor sees no benefit to keep it going.

Maybe we should invite those folks to join us here. In fact some (like me) already have. Since the F6B shares a drivetrain with the 1800 Valks there might be a benefit to F6B riders posting on the 1800 Tech page.

They should also visit the gl1800riders site as they have some real gurus there which is where I go for most of my 1800 tech questions.

I used to really like that site, but I quit visiting it when my virus program starting telling me it was an unsafe site. I don't know if it actually was or not.

Don’t know if you are referring to the F6b site or gl1800 riders but I haven’t had any issues. I do remember years ago getting warning notices on the VRCC but never any real issues.

Never had issues with the F6B site either. Too bad it's going to be shut down.

The HondaF6B.com site isn't dangerous. It's an HTTP instead of a 'secure' HTTPS site, so information you send and receive isn't encrypted. In theory someone can read the information you send, but since you only click to view a page, or post a comment, there's no real risk.

Secure HTTPS sites are critical if you're entering any personal information like account numbers or passwords. When you type information into a screen it can travel through a dozen or more servers before it reaches the site you actually see. So if that data isn't encrypted there are a lot of chances for it to be hijacked.

I like the F6B page.
it has been really slow over there.
when I first joined it was a little better, but the VRCC has always been the most active site I've joined.
I will have to check those other sites mentioned
