I didn't want to hijack another post so I decided to ask on a fresh post. I see posts on states ridden. I keep a map of places visited with the coviet that I had to at least spend the night and visit something. I'm guessing that for States ridden then it is just that, if you ride through a state to get to another it counts. Would this be a common assumption?

I treat it like....... If I ride in a state, it gets marked off of my list.  I have been to all 48 lower states and am starting on my second time around.

Your parameters are a bit more involved than mine I think since I’ve never traveled with any coviets  Roll Eyes
I did travel with the lovely Theresa, though and once, on the way to Sturgis, I made a sharp left, went a
Half mile and said, “Now you can say, you’ve been to Nebraska “
Pretty loose parameter, admittedly, but factual  :  cooldude

For me it's, I have ridden a motorcycle in that state.

Some of the states on my map were rides under 100 miles, I can't say that I toured that state, but I have ridden a motorcycle in it.

I am fortunate enough to have ridden a motorcycle in all 48 lower states.

Some only once, others many times.

Some I intend to visit again others, not so much.

I hope to get Alaska checked off someday and maybe Hawaii.

Yeah I am of the same opinion

I borrowed Robert's Black Valkyrie to ride in Florida
Rented a Harley in Hawaii big island
Rented a Wing in Alaska
On a ride maybe only 20 miles thru Georgia on a group ride
The rest were on my 2001 Interstate

Got my 50 in before turning 70 yrs of age

Next time I go cross country I will take different routes just because I can
Would love to take 2 eastbound from my son's place near Seattle (Bothel) but not for a few years

Jimmy you can count NY as you borrowed my 04 police bmw for a day on a nice ride in the Hudson Valley.  Dag gets to say the same.

Couldn't say how many states in CONUS I've ridden in, my memory isn't what it used to be and really don't care.   I've been/driven/ridden (or flew, miliary RW flying) in 49 for the fifty states.   I'm happy with that.   I'd rather keep the memories of those states I've been to or through visiting friends.   Those were some good times.   Simplly being or riding in another state doesn't get me too excited.
