Just a little reminder.

Stay on time and stay safe…Back to EST tonight and if you have battery operated smoke detectors change them out.

Being retired, I've got some leeway on this, I normally don't know the time of day nor the day of the week.   Usually I'm correct on the month but, that varies.   I assume my wife changes the clocks I changed the batteries when asked to.

I fully agree, there is no more need for daylight savings time.  With the increased in "work at home" and the ability, in many cases, to set your work hours between a give range (mine start at between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM).  We also worked eight nine hour days and one eight hour Friday so we got every other Friday off.  It is doable and we don't need DST any more.

Being in Arizona, we just have to remember not to mess with our clocks.

One major nice thing about vehicles with GPS built in - the clocks (usually) adjust themselves...

All 3 kitchen appliances that need manual adjustment have now been done.

Now to do the Gold Wing, and the regular old clocks the spousal unit insists on keeping around that either she has to get a ladder to adjust (With a recently broken back) or I casually reach up and get...

Definitely not like the old days. I remember in the mid 90's clock change time being an "All hands on deck" thing for us IT geeks before it all just handled itself...

It is a biannual pain in my ass.  (Oh yeah, my watches too).

I have to use a chair for several wall clocks (I've always preferred analog over digital).

Worse than fiddling with my clocks, it screws up my sleep habits for about a week.  Stay up later, still wake up at the same time anyway.  There is no adjusting my internal clock.

The kids were going to school in the dark, and still are.   crazy2

totally sucks come Nov 1st since I have to work til 6 p.m. and is pitch black now by 5 p.m..  Is lighter in the morning but no biggie I leave at 730 a.m. for work prior and was getting light out by then.  ONLY dept. in entire company that is forced to work until 6 p.m. 2 of us and of course the dept. is the lowest paid as well of all depts.

I hate driving home in complete darkness from 6 to 7 pm....  Darn deer are on the move as well more so at 6 p.m. when completely dark out.
