It’s not all that hard to get discouraged, dismayed, and angry with the events going on in the country and the world. So I have to constantly refocus on my core and my own principles to bring myself back to the realization that I, we, are so blessed beyond measure to live in the greatest and most imperfect country in the world. The freedoms we enjoy along with our love and devotion for family is for me the key to our country’s strength. Our kids and our grandkids are the future and while the news could paint a pretty bleak future because of a relative handful of misguided youth who lack correction and guidance in the home. But I’m convinced that the rank and file moms and dads are generating millions of new patriots to carry us forward.
The reason for my constant renewal in the countries future,
I got to spend some time with these guys this weekend. The twins are days away from being ten and Olivia is five and they are already exhibiting a lot of traits that will serve them well as citizens and leaders in the years to come. I’m convinced that all of us have similar families that are contributing to the growth and future of America.
