Erika Kirk, a truly incredible lady

Watching Erika Kirk, In Her Own Words.  

All I can say is she is truly an incredible person with more soul and a bigger heart than I can even imagine.   She is a blessing to all of us.

She certainly seems that way.

I hope from the ashes another rises to not fill Charlie’s shoes, or replace Charlie but to pick up the torch and keep it moving.

Turning Point has been a helping hand at giving younger people who’ve felt silenced a place to feel comfortable and among others who want to be not only heard to be among peers who have similar views and beliefs and to be able to speak out and speak up on issues that matter to them.

Somewhere among all these people a new generation of young men and women will develop and new torch bearers will hopefully bring the message and style out like Charlie did.

I sense that she still hasn't truly forgiven the assailant/assassin of her beloved spouse but, it dang obvious she's trying.   As I said, she's an incredible lady.   

I doubt I could live up to her standards in life.   I'm not that forgiving.

People often mistake what forging means.  It does not mean that we want the offender to get away with what he has done.  It does mean that he owes me nothing for what he has done.  We do understand what the term means when we have a loan or debt forgiven.

For the Christian forgiving means I do not pursue retribution but I leave it in God's hands.

She has done forgiving, I believe, but she still hurts.

Great response Carl.   To be honest, I'm not there yet.  Admittedly, I need to work on that.

I have never seen God's children forsaken, nor the ones who commit wrong against Gods children not pay for their evil. God will decide what to do and they that trust in God will not destroy themselves with the emotions of revenge or grief. He will also heal broken hearts of loved ones. Charlies reward is great in heaven.
