Sydney

5th -21st.  Have rented a penthouse with full private rooftop in Darling Harbour.   26 hours fly time with about 36 hours total travel time.   That first cocktail is gonna do me in!

Yep, there's definitely a chill in the air. Last November was amazing with record high temps. Not this year. I've only ridden once this month. And when I got home, I filled up and added stabilizer to the tank. Then I moved the bike to the back of the garage where it will stay for some time unless we get a sunny day with temps at least in the mid 40s. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for one more ride this year.

In the mean time, I'm filling up the wood caddie on the deck today. We'll probably have our first ambiance fire of the year this coming week. I'll also check the snow blower soon to insure it starts. I'm still waiting for our Beach Tree to drop its leaves so I can complete the fall clean-up. It holds on to the leaves a long time.

Stay warm folks!  Cool

Wow! I wondered if you were going all the way to Australia. Sounds amazing! Hope you're able to share some stunning pictures when you get back.  Wink

Yeah, winterized my bikes and put them in storage last week. Was hoping to get in a couple of more rides, but I don't ride in cold weather anymore. My old bones can't take it. See everyone next spring.

Blackstone has been seasoned and packed towards the back, generator and snowblower are ready for whatever comes down the pike...
We awoke one morning to completely snow covered ground...lawns, driveway, decks, and roads..
2 other mornings we had black ice...Roads have been hit with salt, sand, and the calcium chloride solution...

Yeah trust me, managing pain and restlessness is definitely a concern.  My GP (she's freaking awesome) wrote me a script for Xanax at her own suggestion because she does a bit of International travel.  She has thoroughly drummed it into my head though to NOT have a bourbon with it.  :-)

Ahhhh, the xanax gal...She filled my dance card many a day and night years ago...Commitment and willpower when she tugs on your strings, something I didn't have...
Enjoy and have fun on your vacation Chris...
