Makes me feel like I have given up! But the cover comes off easier than it goes on! So all hope is not lost. I thought about covering the Corvette but it sits right in front of the door and there will be some opportunities to give it some exercise even when it’s below freezing outside. I didn’t do any maintenance on the bike but that will also present some opportunities once it gets nasty outside. The Vette needs a new oil pressure sending unit installed, which I have already procured, but it involves pulling the intake manifold off and all that entails.

Anything more sad? Yes, I can think of many things.... in the theme though watching your bike being driven away on a trailer after you sold it would be more sad....

Yes, my last Valkyrie that I sold went to a guy who crashed it in the parking lot 15 seconds after he started to ride it away. Yes, I had the money in hand before I let him on it.

After I sold my '98 Tourer earlier this year, I watched it being ridden away. Gave me a real lump in my throat, was a good bike and put thousands of miles on it. Not so much in later years due to caring for my wife and couldn't leave. Had it for 23 years.

Now it's on with the trike, which is tucked away for the next six months. If I had the room in my garage it would be here but two cars and a trike are difficult to accommodate. Since this picture was taken I've added steel wool in the exhaust and added moth balls in spots on the trike and underneath.

I don't know about sad,  at least you have a garage.  My 2 Interstates go in a 10 X 12 shed (barely).

I'm only riding one, and the other is covered.

I'm not done riding.  Just went 4 hours yesterday.  Wednesday looks good too.   Smiley

Put it away? NEVAH!

The Santa season officially gets underway the day after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately the forecast is for a big winter storm with possible blizzard on the weekend. Which pretty much would undo Motorcycle Santa Season. But maybe it'll miss and the roads stay dry.

I hate to see grown men cry or I would have shown a pic of my Valkyrie (Wing under the bike cover) which was just out of the frame to the right. But at least it’s not sitting in a barn or on the back porch rusting away. Every year that goes by my priorities evolve and change hopefully for the better but not always in the direction I had thought they would.
