Merry Christmas VRCC!
Unfortunately I wasn't able to Motorcycle Santa this year. Too much snow here in Iowa. But it is still the season! May it be a joyful day for all!

Had our customary big family Christmas dinner yesterday, Christmas day yesterday at my sons home in Waller Tx.  28 people attended...old and babies in the family included.   A great time was had by all....really great home cooked meal.   Then.....this morning I get a call from a 85 yr old family member and she said she woke this morning not feeling well and went to a urgent care snd found out she tested positive for covid.....oh boy....here we go.

Sorry to hear, hopefully the spread is limited and no severe cases.

I had a similar occurrence towards the end of Covid at a Christmas gathering.  About half the large group ended up testing positive, including me.  Fortunately, no serious outcomes. Since then, I try to restrict shaking hands and hugs (try to anyway) in these large group gatherings.  Sad, I know. But if it is in the air, those susceptible will probably have it in a few days no matter what your restrictions were.  Best of luck.

That Christmas is forever known to our family as the “Red Christmas”.  To those familiar to the Game of Thrones series the similarities to the Red Wedding episode ring true.  We can laugh about now but at the time it was unsettling.
