After over 3000 miles over 2 weeks in outrageous terrain, Honda racer Ricky Brabec missed repeat win of the 2026 Dakar by 2 SECONDS.

About day 10 or so, he stopped to help a crashed rider and lost about 8 minutes.  Would have made the difference, but I'm sure Brabec has no regrets.

In good news for Honda, they took 2nd,3rd,4th,6th and 10th positions.

And in other good news the SSV class was taken by Americans in 1st and 2nd.

Polaris took 1st and Can-Am second.

I like the trucks, wish an American truck company would get involved.

In the Cars, Ford Racing took 2nd, 3rd, and 5th in Raptors'

Overall, great outcome for North America.
