Don't threaten me with a good time

Greeneville, TN

« on: January 26, 2026, 07:35:45 AM »

Hey All,

With Inzane being scooted up on the schedule, no plans for a 2026 Hillbilly Ride this year. Not to detract from the normal attendees who may still wish to meet up over Memorial Day weekend. Wife and I are taking an extended vacation from work over that Holiday weekend.

Everyone be safe with the recent wild winter weather.

If anyone wants to get together for a Memorial Day Weekend ride I'm game.

I'm sure that I could come up with a spot in VA or WV.

if not, I'm equally sure that Ginger will make plans for me.  Grin

That ride is always a good one  cooldude ...

BTW: I just read this:

“Deere & Co. is shifting the construction of excavators from Japan
to a new $70 million facility in North Carolina and building a distribution center
in Indiana as part of a bid to bolster American manufacturing.”

Hey, Mark!

Cleared it with Boss Lady  cooldude
She thinks she can get away Memorial Weekend, would love to go to WVa
& see everyone. She requires dog friendly room. Looking forward, let us know.

Let me see what I can come up with.

If not, I think she has plans for me to be in Cincinnati Memorial Day Weekend.

Maybe we could meet somewhere in the middle for a bit.

Hey Mike,

Good on the move from daddy Deere. For almost a decade or more, Deere has had a joint venture with Hitachi on excavators. Deere branded excavators were pretty much all Hitachi based designs just painted in construction yellow. Hopefully the Kernersville factory extensions in NC turns out to be a good move for the company.

I’ve never made to this particular event but in my defense, anytime I’m out on my bike I’m on a Hillbilly ride!
