There's nothing like having fresh rubber on your bike.

I think that I got all of the "Good" out of the old Venom.

I didn't get a chance to test out the new Cobra today.

But I've had one on the back for almost a year and I liked the Venom that I replaced so I figure that I'll like it just fine.

I am likely wrong, or at least ignorant, but that looks like it is mounted in the wrong way.  I have heard of people doing this but by looking at the tread, it seems it would channel water towards the center of the tire........   is it mounted in the correct direction and I am wrong?  If you mounted it in reverse, why?  I am curious.   Thinking of these as my next shoes.

After I got it on the bike and looked at it, I thought the same thing.

So, I double checked and it is mounted correctly.

I looked up a PIC of the Venom on the bike when it still had tread and it was very similar to the Cobra.

The tread on the rear tires does run more like you'd expect it to.

FYI, the Dunlop E's tread is the same way...I also had to double check the direction arrow on the side wall before I hit the road.

I like it.

It sticks GOOD!

The bike cornered like it was on rails today.

The Venom was a good tire but I do believe that the Cobra is better.

Now let's see what kind of mileage I can get out of it.
