Hey, have any of you folks got your Valks out and gone for rides in this really warm weather?

I did go for 130 miler yesterday and it was great.  Enjoyed it.

I know we are supposed to get some wet coming this weekend but am enjoying the warm sunshine while it last.

Glad to hear you were able to get out!  Hope this means your feeling better and feeling able to handle the Valk!

Doing OK.  My body is telling me that nearly 80 years of doing stuff that I should not have done is beginning to tell.  Left Knee replacement is doing great, right knee is starting to do what the left knee did so another replacement is in the future.  But I can ride without problems.

The reason for trying to sell my Valk and acquire a small bike is help out with some of the outer health issues and placate DW and family.  As one gets older one strength starts to wane, even though one continues to work out.   tickedoff

I hear you!  I'm back on my Shadow Tourer now, all 3 of my Valks are in Texas at my daughters.  Well, two I gave to my grandson, one for his rider and the other for a parts bike.  "My" Valk will probably go on the market this summer.  Breaks my heart, but I don't feel as capable/confidant with that much bike after health problems last year.  If I was able, I'd have jumped on your Valk in a heartbeat!
