Hello CT Chapter Reps of the VRCC

I bought a 1998 Valkyrie (touring) from my childhood best friend’s father in early 2020. He purchased it new in 1998 and rode it all over the US and parts of Canada.
He was ill and could not ride any longer , but the bike deserved to be “with family “ and not a stranger.
So I purchased it and shipped it from FL to CT (pain in the *** during Covid ) .
Since then it has been cared for and ridden a little bit locally.
But my father in law moved in with us (with his own bike) and now we have more bikes than we can reasonably keep.
How is the fastest way for me to sell this bike? I’m willing to take $3-4k for it asap.
We are in Greenwich CT and I really don’t want to deal with people that don’t know the bike and lots of silly questions.  I hate to just list online and get a million calls.
Do you know anyone in the market?
Happy to send pictures and details if you feel that I would not be wasting your valuable time.

Thank you
Karen  Martinez

I may also have an Indian bike to sell.
No room to store and not being ridden.

Thank you

Yes please can you do that for me?
That would be wonderful.

Do you want me to go to the garage and take some photos?
I can get the VIN number off the bike and take a picture of it too.

My friends dad said Valk owners are their own special group and they like to sell to other owners or “family”.
I do not want to disrupt that karma !

Amen to that, when it's time for me to stop riding I hope I can find someone in the VRCC to buy my Interstate. I'm still hoping I have at least a couple years left.  Grin
