Hello All,
Theresa Paul's (aka Lulu Belle) 33 yo daughter, Alyssa, has cancer and very little if any insurance coverage.  She has already had several procedures and needs more. Theresa has been working around the clock for the past several months trying to pay her bills and cover the cost of meds.  I spoke with her last night, and she said Alyssa is in need of another procedure to remove the cancer.  I asked if she would mind if I reached out on her behalf, and while reluctant to do so, she admitted that she had no other viable alternatives.  Gig has been helping her out, but is on a fixed income since his accident.

If you are willing and able to help, I'm attaching her Venmo and Zelle QR codes that will deposit directly to her checking account.  Please help out if you can and thank you in advance.

Thank you for posting this

You were certainly there for Gig in his moment of need and I am happy to pitch in for
the woman who domesticated our friend

Hey Joe,  any way to set up a PayPal account for this?

I'm really old and not very smart on these things but I have used PayPay in the past but no clue on what a Zelle is.

Thanks,

Hi, Guys:

Alyssa made it home but not entirely out of the woods because her blood will not coagulate- she continues to bleed…
Continued attention required; got to keep eyes on the situation. Theresa’s still quite frazzled,
She managed to get to work…
Thank you all very much  angel

Hey mc family,  we'd like to say thank you all so much for all the support & help & most of all yr continued prayers.   Not sure where we're headed next in this process as probably much more lies ahead.  Putting one foot in front of the other & praying hard.
Alyssa has asked me to extend her many thanks & love .

Thanks so much everyone for all the love & support.  This is like a terrible nightmare & so hard as a mom to not be able to fix this one. Gotta put it in God's hands I guess.  Plz continue to pray for her. She's just been  put back in the hospital with more complications.....

I just got a call from Jig and Theresa, unfortunately Alyssa has had some complications and had to back to the hospital for a couple days, she is back home now, but things aren't going well.  I'll let Theresa post more details if she'd like, but please keep Alyssa in your thoughts/prayers, she needs them.  Thanks to all that have stepped up to help out.  This is one great family/club.

Well, I just got another update from Theresa, and the news is not good.  Alyssa is going to need another procedure to remove kidney stones, they need to go in from the back to remove them, and there is a significant risk of infection and sepsis with this procedure.  My wife had a less invasive procedure to remove kidney stones, and she developed sepsis the day after they sent her home, then spent a week in the hospital and then 3 weeks at home on IV antibiotics.

Theresa is having a hard time dealing with all this, yet alone handling the expense.  I know several of our members have stepped up to help cover expenses, but please continue to pray, and if you can help ease the financial burden, by all means, please do so.

I for one don't understand, how my family can be so blessed, and others are burdened with these unfortunate circumstances.  I will continue to keep Alyssa in my prayers, and continue to help out, if you can, please do likewise.
