ok, so yeah, my bike is listed on ebay. it isnt about the price, its about the offers. I have noticed that ignorance takes precedence over everything. I have been called many things. My bike has been disassembled and called worse. My workmanship is in question. the short video was the topic of a heated debate. because goody didnt used optical stabilization and the filmography sucked. wth is wrong with people?? I am shooting new video today, adding new pics today but I will have to say I probably wont sell it because I have YET to talk to anyone asking questions worthy of owning her. Maybe Ill pull it because of that. 90% of all questions and feedback have been derogatory and mean. I spent alot of time building this, alot of money and because of the economy, it would help me to sell it.even against my own wishes...sucks to be like this. but life goes on. I will not complain about my situation but I wish to understand what motivates people to be total idiots and say the meanest nastiest things about something they know nothing about.

No worries. I might be a bit emotional considering the subject matter. Im actually a pretty nice guy once people get to know me. and I take alot of pride in my work. Just looking for some sort of understanding...

some will make negative comments to try to get you to lower the price or take less $$.  Then I think there are some that just like to be controversial and start crap.  Don't let them get to you.  Smiley

Hey Dave,
Theres no need to try and understand some people.  There are just idiots everywhere, nothing you can do about it.  Many have nothing better to do than just be a**holes.  Me personally, I could give a sh%t what people think about me or my things.  Ive seen your bike in person and can honestly say, it is amazing.  Also, being Ive met you also, you're a helluva nice guy.  Im looking forward to Bike Week in MD again and hanging out.  If these people dont have any common sense questions about your bike, just block them from bidding.  I wouldnt pull the ad because of a some morons.  Let them go spend $25k on a Harley with nothing on it.  That said, to avoid stupid questions on ebay, when I list stuff, I put lots of details about everything I can think of.  I write the ad up in "Word" first, and then copy and paste it in when Im ready to do the ad.  Also, put as many pics as you can, closeups of all areas of the bike.  Its more work, but will weed out some of the questions.  Let me know if you need any help with the auction.

Dog, your bike is Bitchen!!  cooldude You may be better off to bring it to some bike events, for exposure, i had my bike in the Bike Trader 2 years ago for sale, WHAT A JOKE!!, i had some idiot call me every day and ask about the blower, he was on his way to buy it and didn't show up, after waiting and taking the day off from work, I called him that night WTH? he gave me some BS, my response at that point was like yours F#$%% IT!!! i told him to go buy something he could handle and this is too much for a Boyscout!! and hung up on him Angry If its meant to be it would have sold! so i sold my 911 instead, BTW i am disappointed  your bike is NOT on the VRCC calender Dont care about the backdrop only about the bikes. good luck with it, Greg.

There is no question that Cerberus is one bad ass bike!  You will have to be patient because you will have to find (1) A person that knows enough to appreciate her and (2) A person with deep enough pockets to take her off your hands.

Folks that possess both of those attributes are few and far between.

Hang in there Dogg

The better and more unique an item is the more time it may take to find the right person to own it

Damn that so good I almost believe that myself lol

It's re. the swingarm modification to widen it. I believe I read a post of yours some time back re. all the changes and how you accomplished them, just wish I'd kept it. But, I am interested in how you went about the widening process, it appears there is a gearing or belt drive from the engine main shaft outward to the driveshaft. But the inner workings....can't guess on that without seeing it in person. Doesn't appear to be large enough to have a double gear in there, the center one being an idler to maintain rotation direction.

Dogg, that unique bike (and the price) is about guaranteed to bring out the type of person who would jerk you around just because you own it (wackos).  Do not take their crap personally; you are trying to do business, if someone isn't just quit talking with them.  I agree with advice to visit or try to enter it in shows; and thinking outside the box to sell.  You need to target people with a liquid 50K for a unique machine, not your average bike rider.   If there was a Barret-Jackson auction for bikes, that's where I'd be looking.
