I wish you a very safe, happy, and blessed day.  May God grant you many more here upon this earth.  Take care of your family, yourself, and my southern Interstate.  It was my honor to meet you last fall and I look forward to riding with you a few times again this year.

Thanks, guys, for the birthday wishes!  Usually I don't really like to celebrate my birthday, but this one has been a great one and y'all just made it even better!

Saturday the wife and I and another couple drove up to Nashville and after eating at the Hardrock Cafe, walked Broadway for awhile until it was time for the Eric Clapton concert.  GREAT CONCERT!  Roger Daltry from The Who opened for him for an hour and then Clapton did an hour and half - with hardly no talking between songs...just went from one to the next.  He got Vince Gill to come out and play with him for 4 songs.

Today had lunch with the family and parents at Greenbriar Restaurant - this is a family-owned barbecue restaurant that is just excellent!  Barbecue chicken with white sauce and don't fill up on the hushpuppies before your food gets there!

Tonight was a birthday bash with about 20 of our friends.  I'm truly blessed with a wonderful wife and family, parents in good health and great friends!  Weekends like this one make you wonder what you've done to deserve the love shown to you by everyone.  Thanks again for the birthday wishes and I can't wait to share the wind again with you all.
