I put in new intake O-ring & at the same time was doing my pilot screws to 2 1/4 turns all turn out but the middle one on the left do all 6 adjust

yes they do
try to get some lube in there (I know, how you gonna squirt upside down?)
Here's hoping somebody will be here who went thru that and will have your solution
