Well we finally got temperatures above 40 degrees today and I took advantage.  Northern Utah has been in such a cold spell since--well last fall it seems.  Not too much snow, but a lot of cold.  I had poured a can of seafoam in the tank, run it a bit, and shut of the petcock and put the blanket on her.  Today I just pulled the blanket, turned on the fuel valve, put the battery tender on her for about an hour, full choke(no throttle), and hit the starter..  About four revolutions and we woke up the squirrels!!  What a sweet sound!!  Let her run for a few minutes as I dusted off the leathers, had to reinsert the liners and zip up the vents, pulled the scull cap down tight, released the choke, found first gear, and headed out.  Only went about fifty miles, mostly slow cruising, as the temp was still on the brisk side to say the least.  Anyway I got some wind!!

I had the opportunity to spend a few days in eastern Tennessee this last fall---oh my, what great roads you fellas have to ride on.  Didn't have the bikes just a rental car, but I drove the dragon--twice!!  Will difinitely be back on the valk, probably around inzane time.

Well that's it from Utah, if any of you are headed this way late spring or summer, give me a shout and we'll see if we could hook up some where.  I don't know of any other vrcc guys here in Utah, I know there are a couple valk around but don't see them much.  Lots of harley dudes though and we get along just fine.

It's great to get out after you have been waiting all winter. Fifty miles would feel great right now.

Utah is a state I would like to see more of.  Saw a little bit of it when I took my youngest to the
Grand Canyon  a few years ago.  Lots of parks that I need to see.

Ride Safe,
