I have a 98 tourer with stock handlebars/risers...Is there a certain type/brand of riser I should purchase? I just want an inch or so pull back. I can't tell if some of the ones i've looked at will work or not-never put 'em on before.
Thanks for the help and I hate winter.

Aeromach makes these nice ones, stock cables work... Daniel Meyer had a set of some kind that broke,
so there's some not-so-nice ones out there...
The short one I'm holding up is what came on my bike... maybe a giant used to own it?

Some VTX risers will work too. I had a set of Rivco risers that I took off my 1800R to put on the Valk. I installed VTX1800C Risers on my VTX1800R which are a little taller and back. Check out other Honda risers for fit, and I hear that some HD risers will fit with a mod or so.

I bought a set off ebay about 4 or 5 years ago. They looked much like stock but were 4 1/2" and had about a 1" pull back. These are very similar but 4" and I like the chrome end caps.

I too have something similar to these.
Mine are 1 1/2". Same cables just re-routed a little differently (behind the triple trees instead of in front of them).
