When I was advising the student newspaper at the high schol where I once worked a kid did an article about Deers and Car Crashes. Typically the amount of crashes goes up during mating season because the deer are the most active. Around here that is about Novemberish.
Although it is a good reminder anytime of the year that they are out there lurking in the woods.
I was just talking to a man yesterday that refuses to ride his Gold Wing in the dark because he's afraid of the deer sneaking up on him while he rides.
