I am trying to schedule time off for the whiskey run. I will be riding from the Buffalo NY area. I was wondering if I could hook up with you and ride down the rest of the way. cooldude I do not mind riding alone, I just plan on going that way and maybe share some wind w/ another Valk or two. I see there is another guy from your way, Bob Elliott. Just asking. Roll Eyes
Let me know what you think and when you plan on bugging out,

BuffaloBill,

Dave (Hoz) is my brother-in-law, and rides a 1300 VTX.  I and my group (5 bikes) are leaving from MI and meeting up with Hoz, but we haven't finalized our plans yet.  We were hoping The Inspector would be coming from Buffalo as well and would meet up with Hoz near Pittsburgh. We plan to meet up with the boys from the 'burgh some where in Ohio or WV.  We are heading down a few days early on leaving on the 9th and doing some day rides before the whiskey ride.  My number is 248-794-6037.  Call if you'd like and we can see if we can come up with a plan.  Looking forward to sharing some wind with you.

Here's a picture of Hoz and Rhonda so you'll recognize him.

Skinhead,
I am a member of the American Legion Riders in Orchard Park, NY. Ron LoCurto "the inspector" is a member as well. He most likely will not be going as his parents are very old and he does not like to be too far away in case of an emergency. Anyhow, I was planning on leaving Thursday morning. I have to work that Wednesday til 5, so leaving that late makes no sense. I would like to ride with others if it works out, if not I will see you there.
Thanks for responding,

We will be finalizing our plans soon and if things change and we leave later, we'll definitely let you know.  It's always more fun as a group and we'd love to have you along.  We'll be in touch.

I'm planning on going for now.  I'm signed up and even reserved a room.  But at this point, I give it a 50-50 chance of making it.  My hours just got cut at work, and I have a special needs step-daughter that makes things just so I never know whether I can make it pretty much right up until I can roll out of the driveway.  So between those two things, we'll just have to see.   But if I go, I'd love to hook up with a group for the ride down.  I was planning on leaving early Friday morning.  I live just south of Pittsburgh and would be heading down I-79.

Bob,
I understand your situation. I would be leaving early on Thursday, being there Thurs night or Friday morning. I have not reserved a room, would be willing to split with you if interested. Long ways away yet, let me know how that sounds.
God bless you and your family,

Since my attendance is iffy at best, I'll pass on sharing a room. I'd hate to have to back out and screw someone over at the last minute.  It doesn't look like our schedules will match up anyways.  Thanks for the offer, though.
