RJ it probably best that men control the tax refund, it is frightening to imagine that if it fell into the wrong hands; it could be spent frivolously on something like window treatments!

I hear ya!!! Angry
I always try to figure our withholding tax so we are about even come April. I have hit it right the last couple of year, + or -  $100 or so.
Missed it this year, I guess due to the withholding % change last year we owed a bit more than that. Luckily our tax girl found some college expenses that were able to get it down to less than $600 owed this year. Already paid, the check has cleared. Angry
I don't mind paying my share BUT.............. The obvious waste, fraud, & abuse that ALL levels of government have make it a bitter pill to swallow.  tickedoff

Sorry, self employed last year so I pay my own federal, SS and Medicare.  My accountant and I did not anticipate some of the pay I received near the end of the year which threw my estimates and quarterlies off.

Don, it "ain't" the withholding form...my withholding was "married with 0 dependents".  My wife and I file separate returns...so I file "married filing separately" and I claim my son who is still in college as a dependent.  I don't want this to get into a discussion of who paid what...but I "understand" the pain SgtBunny just described.  The system is broken...and about to get worse.

Anyway...to make this motorcycle related...I had great plans to get out on the Natchez Trace yesterday and give the '98 Tourer some exercise.  Instead, my lovely wife Phyllis got involved in my traveling plans...so the Tourer only made it as far as the Franklin Mall!

I can't wait to do some riding.  Tonight I am going to start tearing my bike down to put 38's in it and sync the carbs.

Anyone have some gauges I could borrow?

SgtBunny I am thinking the same thing where'd you get your 38's, did you shop them around or just order them?
