I have a '97 Tourer that has Progressive 416's and you've heard me brag severa times about how good they are.  However, they now have 150K on them and finally the right rear has begun to leak.  A goof friend on this board (Jeff) said the he put OEM IS shocks on his bike and has been very happy with how they are very effective and comfortable.  He uses only #3 even two up.  I know I can send the Progressives in for a rebuild ($$-??).  So, finally the question : Does anyone have a pair of low
miles IS shocks for sale? If so, please e-mail me with price.  justmeedp(nospam)@cox.net
TIA

Earl, there is an Modify button on your posts so you can go back and de-insult people.   Wink

Earl, just as an alternative, you might check out my thread on converting over to a Goldwing GL1500 shock system. Just another option.

EarL ,I too ran 416 S until the left started leaking oil , switched back to the oe style while i rebuild the 416 ($18.00 for the kit) . the problem is i enjoy the oe ones as much , so i have not gotten around to do the rebuild  Grin
it seems fairly simple.Ebay always has oe shocks. paid 35 buckets for the ones i m using + got the old ones laying arond.
