Nice.....   mind if I ask what the going rate is for that little bundle of fun?

I recently acquired a KelTec PF9 that fits nicely in the rear or front pocket.  This one isn't mine, but looks sweet.

I like my 380 Bersa Thunder Concealed Carry.

No plastic for the Frame Here all metal.

Easy to carry in the waist band, lotsa safety features and has a little tang or indicator on the slide

that let's you know a round is in the chamber. One in the pipe, and many more in the clip.

Careful aim should bring down the attacker. And if the perpetrator has any sense he will run as soon

he or she see's a gun any way.  Two to the head you know there dead.

Favorite Wheel Gun for concealed carry. Light weight and more powerful than the 380.

Less rounds but more effective at eleminating the threat.

I Have a crimson trace laser sight on mine, of course the laser is mounted in the handle, button

on the grip.

Carry mine in waist jacket posket so, no need to remove it for protection, just use natural instinctive shoot from the hip fireing position at close range.

Wheel Guns or Revlovers are simpler and dead reliable.

Nice picture cooldude I carry the pf9, small enough one hardly know it's around.  Your .40 cal. would sure have stopping power in a smaller package.  Nice

12 in the Clip, just over a pound or 16 ozs. and one in the pipe.

Lifetime Warranty on the gun, even if you are not the one that bought it new.

9 mm parrbellum and if you think 9mm is too small to get the job done, maybe get the bigger 40 cal.

in the same gun.

Dead reliable and easy to carry.

I'm rather partial to my Kimber "Ultra Crimson Carry II" for concealment duties.  It's NOT as much "fun" to shoot as my MkIV Series 70 Govt., but, that's not what I got it for.  It's definately got a sharp bark when fired, but, at 25oz (when empty), it's a pleasure to pack... and the laser sight/grips just plain ROCK !

What Piper said.  We carry our G36 daily as a hedge and shield against incarnate evil.  We think one is hard pressed to do better.  A wise man has pointed out that while there have been incidents when a 9mm pellet may not have reliably expanded on impact, there are no documented cases of the .45 slug shrinking.

We trudge on.

Not to start caliber wars, but I really feel it's about shot placement rather than size.  I have put a couple thousand or more rounds through my Glock 19, that it feels like an extension of my hand when I shoot it.  I do wish is was a bit smaller for carry and that little .40 looks pretty nice...but I would have to shoot it a while to be sure I could instinctively use it and be accurate with it.  For now, I like that 16 round capacity of my Glock.  Hell, if I can't hit something and keep it down with 16 rounds I deserve to buy the farm  Wink

BERSA .380 ACP

Big Al, I agree 100%.  My new .380 Thunder has good sights, reliable, fun to shoot, accurate for what it's intended and is just a little larger than my Keltec 3AT which had none of the same attributes. Even though I had the latest 3AT, I didn't trust it for concealed.
For more bulky and heavier carry, I take my Glock 27.  "Better to carry a .380 than leave a .40  at home".

I also carry a Smith Centennial hammerless Airweight. Very reliable.

I did have a Series 70 Colt .45ACP that had trigger and bushing work. I paid $125.00 for it including 100 rounds of ammo.  I had a ambidextrous safety installed but, being left handed, it was not my favorite so I sold it at (ahem)a  slight profit. Wink

Sorry, can't get excited about "Combat Tupperware".  Don't like the feel of 'em either.  The angle of the grip is just too angular for my taste.  For polymer... I'd probably gravitate towards a Springfield Armory XD... but, they don't offer the match grade trigger/barrel in .45ACP.

I have one of those, great gun EXCEPT, KAHR has a follower problem with the PM40. When they break you can not tell except it will not feed right. I called KAHR about it around the second or third time I ordered followers. They told me some of the PM40 models do it and some don't. they said they have looked at them at the factory and can not figure it out. They make an expensive steel follower which they promised (but never did) send me. Keep that in mind when it misfeeds, with good followers it operated flawlessly with everything from +P loads to crummy blazer ammo. I moved up to the PM45 and like that too.

just recently picked up a Kahr pm40, carry it religiously off-duty now..
Had a G27, Taurus .357 and others, the Kahr is by far the smallest and the most accurate.  The "M" in the model name denotes a match grade barrel and I am totally impressed with it's accuracy.  I put it on par with my Sig 226.

XD Sub-Compact 40 S&W here...

I'm personally not a big fan of the 9MM, but... It's about what's comfortable for YOU. In _MY_ hands I've never shot a more inaccurate, jam happy piece of junk than a Glock. I realize I'm in the minority on this, but I've never managed to empty a magazine on a Glock without at least one jam or malfunction of some sort.

My XD's have NEVER failed me no matter what I put through 'em. My 1911's run great. In my hands. Something about Glocks. Maybe they realize I hate the grip angle on 'em and do that to make it easier for me to never wanna buy one.  laugh

But, as I was saying, as far as gun or caliber, whatever YOU are comfortable with, and whatever YOU are accurate with. It's all about shot placement.

A wise man once said "Ya' can't argue with a .22 to the tear duct"

It's also all about having a gun with you when (Assume when, hope for if) the time comes that you need it. The .380 you have in your pocket will be far more effective then the .45 at home in your safe...

Me thinks you got a lemon if you have had that many jams.  Seriously, thousands of rounds through my 19 and no jams.  Worst thing that happen is when I over lube is the first few casings will fly back and hit me in the forehead.  I wear a ball cap now just in case  Smiley  But you're right, to each his own...whatever works for you.

Well
Since Im in  NJ , land of the politician we dare not even discuss carrying weapon for fear of being carried off in the night by big brother LOL
I do however have my 30 year old S & W .357 Model 19 with polished blue finish a little .25 auto, a Browning Buckmark Contour (which I love) and have my papers in for a 9MM Beretta 92 FS in Black. Wanted the stainless but my piggy bank complained LOL ... If I ever move to a state where I can carry, I will think about the .380 but when I shot one the damn thing hurts like hell with such a small handle.....Guess if your being attacked you deal with the hand pain :-)

Therapist - You should be able to edit your own posts, there should be a "Modify" option on your post for yourself...

On your comment - I don't own a Glock. Smiley I've shot many other people's Glocks over the years. Every time someone at the range hears me mention about Glocks being jam-happy for me they want me to try their Glock, I oblige, and... get a jam... (And can't hit the broad side of a barn when it is running right)

People say I must be limp wristing it... Could be, but my XD's, 1911's, Makarovs, etc. etc. etc. don't exhibit that problem... As always, not slamming Glocks per se, if they work for ya', so be it, but me and Glocks just don't get along...

Lefthanders are very good at adapting.  It just wasn't worth the trouble on the 1911.  I'll stick with my Glock 35 Practical/Tactical, works for me.

I bought the Glock 35 a few years ago and we were teaching gun safety to a group of police scouts at the New Haven police indoor shooting range.
We gave each scout a chance to shoot five rounds of .40 S&W standard factory loads through the Glock.  The model 35 had no malfunctions of any kind even though two of the scouts had never shot a centerfire pistol and were limp wristing it.  50 rounds shot, inexperienced shooters, and not a single malfunction of any kind, straight out of the box with inspection but no cleaning.  IMHO, not many semiauto's can do that.  I don't like the looks but Glocks are reliable.
