Mick-O-Pegs

Got to ride 50 miles on the interstate today with the Mick-O-Pegs. Not perfect but fitted me better than the Kurys mounted either on the crash bar or lower engine guard. I Like em.

I bought and installed a set of them this winter and have got to use them the past 3 days (400+ miles) and I really like them too.

For comparison, does the Mick-O-Pegs' chrome hold up better than the kurys. My bike is garage kept and the chrome on the cruise pegs deteriated badly. I contacted Kuryakyn and was told that if I live near the coast ( about 65 miles away, Texas), even if the bike was garaged, it would still affect the chrome finish. Not good in my opinion.

Yes. We are very fortunate. Our chrome work is done by Norbrook Plating who has been an industry leader since 1962.

Jim,

I saw your pegs at IZ a few years back and have one question. Does this system still allow the use of the lift adapter (such as Spoonland) or does something else need to be used when lifting the bike?

Yes, it does. It attaches to the engine guard mount and tucks up under the engine when not in use.

M-O-Ps are tied for the best single accessories with my Sargent modified seat for my I/S.

You could spent literally hundreds of dollars on various pegs/boards and still never feel as comfortable.

Now my Rat Rod Valk has XF6 Criuser boards, but that is at the extreme end of the spectrum. For that bike it makes sense in terms of style and comfort.

As I've said before,...support our member vendors first. These vendors truely know our bikes better than those "universal fit" accessories.
