DS-0009 ...... # 173

Des Moines, IA

« on: March 16, 2010, 04:05:53 PM »

Started Pulmonary Rehab this afternoon.   Couldn't climb in my truck, wife was already gone to work, so only mode of transportation was MGM.   Headers are in California for the Trike so it is down.

Pulled into a Pulmonary slot at the hospital and went up to where they told me to go.     Found a seat and parked my rear.    10 to 15 minutes later the class started.   5 minutes later this guy comes in late and when asked why he said some SOB on a bike parked in one of our slots.......

Looked at him and said I'm that SOB, ya want me to go move it so you can have it.   Well the instructor got the class settled down.   The guy hung fairly close to me during all the exercises and when we got on the stationary bicycle's he was right next to me.   We kind of chatted back and forth and when we were excused, being how I was new, I had to stay a little longer.

I got out to the bike and there he set in the slot next to me on of all things an 883, girly bike.  He said it has been bored out to 1100 and all this crap, I just set there and shook my head yep.

He asked if it actually had 6 cylinders, I said yes and showed him the nickle trick using a dime, that blew his mind.   We saddled up, rode down out of the parking ramp and he followed me to the South side towards where I live.    Got on a 4 way street with a divider, and we hit a stoplight.  He kept rapping his wittle engine and I really felt sorry for him.   Light changed, I let him get all the way across the street, 4 lanes, and he was on his little 883 hard,  Popped 3rd gear right beside him, he backed off real quick and turned off.........

I'm sorry I is so bad and picked on that wittle Hardley Diversion.   NOT.

Another good thing happened today also, my Hardley Diversion stock gained $11,000.......   Now tomorrow, it will probably take a $12,000 crap.  Oh well, I'm still playing in their $$$$$$.  I still have my initial investment + a good sum.  It has yet to get into my $$$$ since the stocks went DOWN.  It is paper, but it could be sold if needed. Dividends aren't worth a crap, but it does pay dividends quarterly.

Sounds like he needs to lower the hour/minute hand or raise the second hand.

I had a HOG clock like that for awhile.   That was the way I fixed it..

What is the "nickle test"?

NICKEL TRICK for J.V.:

J.V., balance a nickel n its edge on your valve cover while bike's on side stand.  Crank engine and rev it.  Valk's engine is so smooth that the nickel will remain on its edge.  It may turn slightly as you rev but you can readily demonstrate how smoothly the Valk engine runs!  GIVE IT A TRY AND YOU'LL LOVE IT!!! cooldude

I also have Harley stock. I tellem its one thing to own a Harley, Its quite another to OWN Harley.
My disadvantaged friends are shocked to see the certs in the garage. Where else?
I love going into the bank and make a big deal about my Harley Dividend check.
Then the cashier looks at it and cant believe the amount. Its a hoot. I have 6 shares and the check is for "Only Sixty Cents"    Really, do they have to say ""only"  HEHWHAHAHAHAH

Today was the next rehab day.  Rode MGM down again just to see if he really wanted to run.

Guess what, he called in, asked the front desk if I was there, she said yes, he told her to mark I'm down as absent.   She came back and told me just in case I was to call him.   Told her thanks, and let it drop there.

We had discussed him during exercises, wondered where he was, someone said riding, like the arsehole I am, I said, I hope it isn't above 50 MPH, or he will lose too many parts on that vibrator.    All the members who have been to rehab for awhile with him say he gets hurt real bad when something doesn't go his way...     Oh well.......   They figured that was his reason for not showing up.
