Hey shortleg, and anyone else who might be lurking....

You can send private messages on this new fangled message board.  That way, you don't clutter up the main board with, "Hey dude, you've got mail!" type messages.  Because, if the person you posted about isn't reading right that minute its going to scroll away where they won't see it anyway.  Its not like the old board in that regard.

You can send a private message one of a few different ways.  You can click the little personal message icon below their name on the left while reading a thread.  Or, you can click their profile, and on the left under Actions, there is a link to send them a personal message.  And if all else fails, you can click My Messages in the menu up there, and start a new message to whoever you like.
