I went to the ER about three weeks ago for a diverticulitis attack.  While there, they did a cat scan.
I saw the gastroenterologist the next day.  He didn't like what he saw, thought it might be bowel cancer.

He did a colonoscopy last Thursday, everything was OK except for the diverticulosis. Whew!

I was already to ask for prayers here but the Lord came though again.

That's excellent news Wayne, diverticulitis is much easier to deal with than the alternative.

I was put in the hospital and fed antibiotics intravenously when I was 50. One of the diverticuli popped and caused peritonitis.  I was real sick.

Since then, I've lived with this thing.  I try to watch my diet and haven't had popcorn  for 30 years.  Hard to give that up .

Can't wait to see you this summer!

yeah, diverticulitis....another friend of mine....I can't have burger buns with seeds, or eat okra, and lettuce tears me up sometimes, too....

I am glad that it was not what the dr originally thought it was.....

I once made an appointment for a physical and the nurse asked me if I had any concerns, and like an idiot I said I was having some chest pains.  Now, I knew it was from the lousy breakfast I had and that it was nothing more then indigestion.

They had me in an ambulance, and rushed to the emergency room five miles away in ten minutes!  The cost, $500!!

The fun part was walking back to the clinic to get my truck and then going back to the same receptionist and saying that I was not having a heart attack, and I would like to set up an appointment for a physical!
