I am adding the stuff to eliminate the hydro lock problem and want to put in a filter as well.  I was eyeing the magnetic filter on the dan-marc web site because i have a small rust spot in my tank . That filter  has a 312 psi. working pressure and i am not sure that will work on gravity fed systems. Any ideas or anyone know where I can get a magnetic filter?

You do have a couple of choices one get a regular in line filter and get a magnet and wire tie it on the filter. Or you could just drop a couple in your tank. One that they have is like a donuts and you could put a wire through the center with it connected to the base of the cap. That way you could pull it out and clean it. Some are very powerful and you would need to use caution with them.
