    Hi all Just dropping a line to say HI!! and to invite everyone that is down Angleton / brazoria county way on March 28th to stop in at our Motorcycle chapters Blue Knights first annual "Salute to First Responders" This salute is honoring all the men and women of EMS, Fire and Law Enforcement. It will be a great day!!!  Copied here is the public invite letter, it is free to the public. Pass it on to friends and family. I will have tha valkyrie displayed proudly.

“Salute to First Responder’s”

    On Saturday March 28, 2009, Blue Knights Texas VI of Brazoria County will present a county wide “SALUTE TO FIRST RESPONDER’S”. The Salute will be held at the MSR Race Track located at South CR 48 at SH 288 (Angleton, Texas) from 10:00 to 4:00pm. Admission is free.

    The community is invited to meet personnel from various Fire, EMS and Local Law Enforcement agencies including Texas Parks and Wildlife. Tour a variety of emergency vehicles, climb aboard a fire truck and visit personnel who man the Hermann Life Flight helicopter and PHI air ambulance. Citizens will observe demonstrations of a police chase, “Jaws of Life”, U.S. Coast Guard search and rescue; police K-9’s and much more.

     Come early for the opening ceremony at 10:00 am, which will feature Natalie Riggs, a senior at Alvin High school who will sing the National Anthem. Color Guards from Alvin ISD, Alvin Fire Dept. and Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office will present the United States Flag.

There will be games for the kids from Bass pro shop, face painting and moon walks.

Food vendors will be Fire and Police Associations.

Parents will be able to receive a free digital child ID for their children, courtesy of the Missouri City police department.
