Well ya know......i have yet to spell your name directly.....i would like to see you explain your response of my anger?? i have 'sorrow' not of my selfish needs but of the once free America that you and i have enjoyed all of our lives, i have had a very fulfilled life...i have out lived my father, But to see the dept and the decline of the Dollar in America due to irresponsible Government unlike anything we have ever seen in such a short time 12 months, that it has put fear in the American public, not just because it is my concern, but we as the most giving country in the world will have burdened the generation behind us and stuck it to them. I am worried about the solvency of the U.S. but unlike some on the forum, I don’t blame it on one President but many, starting with the Reagan Administration.  The role of the Federal Gov’t must expand with a growing population of +300million people, global economies, and global interests.  What is to fund some of the safeguards of our society like our military, Border Patrol, or the FDA?  Do we just get rid of Social Security, Medicare, Veteran’s Administration, Federal Grants for education,  to name just a few that the country has grown fond of?  Do you really think that individual states could assume the responsible for their citizenry in this day, in this age?  The Constitution that has shaped the country into what it is today regarding immigration, freedom and the ebb and flow of nationalities and changing ideologies?  This country does not necessarily reflect how I would like it to look but there is a “new” America that we must deal with and I don’t think the clock can be turned back.
The Tea Party movement came out the starting gates calling themselves “Tea Baggers” before the media pointed out to them what it meant.  That being said, I think the movement has merit but it is tainted with ignorance and extremism.  I find it odd that the movement picks this time to be disgusted with government spending.  I do think some good will come out of the movement but will it come with a price too great? 
I also fear for the quality of life and the burdens future generations are to face.  I’m concerned with senseless wars and our dependency on foreign oil.  I’m also concerned with the health of present and future generations.  When I got to Washington, it looked so clean, as does Idaho and Montana but as you live here you see the results of unchecked capitalism and lack of oversight by and outside concern such as the Federal Gov’t.  This country is a polluted mess.  Youth are not healthy or educated enough to protect us from outside forces or fiscal demise.  Too fat to fight for this country-too dumb to serve it.  Dropout rates are unbelievable and this is the first generation that is expected to have a shorter life expectancy than that of their parents.  Some will never leave home in spite of all opportunities.
I also think Jesus was a great man and the world is better off for his existence-but just a man like many others that have led to great outcomes.  My Christian reference to terrorism is regarding the most recent arrests and the name of their militia and the goals of the militia.  I find it more than coincidence that most, if not all, of the underground militias throughout the country are operating inside the “Bible Belt”.  I also find it more than coincidence that racism is the highest in the same part of America.  Now that doesn’t make all Christians either
FINALLY, I don’t expect to necessarily sway anyone away from their principles and beliefs, only to inspire some to seek information from outside their normal means or sources.  I don’t watch MSNBC without realizing that they are left leaning and make big money being so as does FOX and the right.  I watch Chris Matthews, Keith Oberman and Ed Schultz but I don’t take what they say as gospel.  They get paid very well to stir things up for lefties as do Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, and the completely crazy Glen Beck and Rush Limbaugh for righties.  I wouldn’t doubt if they are not laughing at us all while partying together in a Penthouse somewhere very insulated from the troubles caused and the hardships we all face.  Bring back the news of yesteryear when news wasn’t necessarily a money maker but a moral obligation of the individual networks.

Me thinks you can go even farther back to see where the problems started with OUR fed. govt. Look at TR, WW, FDR. Maybe it was FDR to be the first to establish czars to work around the constitution to accomplish what he wanted.

I believe that the REAL PROBLEM is called Profesional Politician(s). The Founders of this country did Not intend for the govt to be perverted into what it is today. They wanted the People to elect normal citizens to represent them in the dirty city. Not perfetionals.(intentional) Deffinately NOT LAWYERS. We NEED to clean this up.
