Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: March 21, 2010, 07:19:07 AM »

What a beautiful weekend we had for our ride through both North and South Carolina . We had lunch at world famous Chimney Rock , North Carolina on both friday and saturday.

Chimney Rock

We stayed the night in Lancaster, South Carolina and visted a friend. I sure miss ridin' with this black beauty and the man who rides her.

This picture is Gordon ( Lucky 13 ) the dude thinks he can wheelie anything   Cheesy

Better stick with the Interstate when it comes to wheelie's Gordon.

Leave the Grave Digger driving to the professional's  cooldude

We made our ride back home through some very nice backroads in both North and South Carolina Hwy 209 through Hot Springs was a blast. As stated before we could not have bought a more awesome weekend weather wise than this ride.

Excellent ride report, thanks for sharing.  That black Valk sitting in that garage with the luggage on the back is a beauty....somehow I am certain it would look even better in my garage!

Outstanding is a good description of that ride Joe. I had a great time and thanks for the invite. Sorry I had to do that turn around on the way to 209, but about 3 miles after we got on 40 it hit me that I was one tired SOB. Decided to go on home while I was close.
Good pics and report.  cooldude

Had a good time riding with you again Joe, Gordon, Al, Wimp, and Normangog.  I stopped and spent today resting.  I guess I was a bit tired.  2587 miles to date.  Will be back to my trailer tomorrow evening and then I'm rolling out for San Antonio on Tuesday.

Ron if you want to email me a copy of your resume and I'll submit it to the people I'm talking too.  Email: cmorse40@gmail.com.

Thanks to Joe,Gordon,Ron,Al,Charlie and Paul for the surprise visit. All of you guys are good friends and mean a lot to me. The visit was and is a spirit lifter to say the least. Hopefully in a few weeks things will be a little more normal and the Detn8er will make a surprise visit of his own.  cooldude
I hope to make Cheaha and will know more about that after Monday the 29th.
I'm Glad you guys had good weather for the ride and hope you enjoyed Hwy. 105 I pointed you to....I always use that road as a warm up for the real curves.  cooldude It's not very long but certain sections ROCK!!!

Gordon made a friend for life with Ryan and he talked all day about the wheelie he did on the Valk for him......He didn't know about Gordon riding Grave Digger until I told him Saturday about Gordon doing the wheelie and crash on Grave Digger. Ryan said "He did a wheelie and crashed just like the real one?"   2funny 2funny 2funny I captured these pictures and emailed them to Ryan  cooldude
THANKS GUYS!!!

Sounds like you guys had a great time.

Look forward to riding with you soon.
