Hey folks, this just hit my inbox from the North Texas Patriot Guard.

For more information about the Patriot Guard Riders click http://www.patriotguard.org/

Ladies and Gentlemen,

One of our riders has passed information to me and asked that I, in turn, share it with you.  I believe it is very much related to our PGR mission because it is about local law enforcement officers who have fallen in the line of duty and paying tribute to them.

Over the long history of the Dallas Sheriff’s Department, 19 members of that Department have lost their lives in the line of duty, yet no memorial exists to their sacrifice.  Now, the members of the Dallas Sheriff’s Office are working to build a memorial to those officers near the John Neely Bryan cabin in downtown Dallas and a ride has been put together to raise funds for that purpose.

There will not be an official PGR mission for this but I would ask anyone who is interested to please visit the web site, Honor 19, based on the 19 who have fallen, at www.honor19.com and click on the memorial motorcycle ride link for more information.

Thank you all for your continued contribution to the families of the fallen.
