Just wanted to pass along some good feedback on Hyperlites and their customer service.
I purchased these back when my 99 Standard was less than 1 year old. Last year, 8 of 16 LEDs on one side went out and the flashing function quit working.
I looked at their website and found a troubleshooting guide. Both of these problems led to "call customer service" and there was an 888 toll free number provided.
I called last Wednesday and spoke with the woman that answered the phone. She inquired about which model I had purchased and said she would send out replacement parts. These parts arrived on Saturday (3 days), had a postage paid envelope to return the defective parts, and was sent free of charge.

These really work well to draw attention to the rear of the bike during braking. I use the option to have the leds flash for 5 seconds (requires clipping one wire loop on the unit), then they stay bright while the brake is appied. They also act as additional red running lights when the brake is not applied (30% illumination), then go bright (100%) and flash while the brake is held. When stopped at a red light, I usually let off the brake momentarily then reapply the brake to start the flashing cycle over again. This helps warn approaching drivers that the bike is stopped.
No affiliation, just a grateful, satisfied customer. I attached a link in case anyone else is considering this functional accessory.
