I'm limited to 10 hours and then I got to find O2.

So it will probably be pretty close to home.

Update...................... 3/29/2010

Found a O2 maker that runs on battery's..     1 pair of batteries is good for at least 8 hours.   Slap in another pair and off and running again.   If I qualify, Medicare will pick it up.      NO, I did not mention ObamaCare.  It wouldn't cover sheet paper if required at my age.........

So here is the list, if I get approved.

This is everything.

April 2010        IA VRCC Ride - Kevin & Jodi
May-2010   IA VRCC Ride
May-2010   Dan Sasker - Ogden, IA
Jun-2010   Map # 1 Under 500 population
Jun-10     Map # 2 Under 500 population
Jun-10              Map # 6 Under 500 population
Jun-10              Map # 7 Under 500 population
Jun-10               Power Tour - Newton, IA
Jun-10              Map # 8 Under 500 population
Jun-10              IA Ride In - Missouri Valley -  2 Day - Little
Jun-10              Map # 9 Under 500 population

Jun-10     Map # 14 Under 500 population
Jun-10     Map # 15 Under 500 population
Jun-10     IA VRCC Ride - Randy Heath
Jun-10     Map # 16 Under 500 population
Jun-10     Map # 17 Under 500 population
Jul-10      IA VRCC Ride -
Jul-10      Map # 18 Under 500 population
Jul-10              Map # 19 Under 500 population
Jul-10      Map # 20 Under 500 population
Jul-10      Map # 21 Under 500 population
Jul-10   Inzane X - Bellaire, MI - 7/15-18/10    (Don't know just yet)
Aug-10    IA VRCC Ride - Rob & Terri
Aug-10    IA VRCC Ride - Brad T
Aug-10             MN VRCC Ride-in (Aug 13-15)
Sept-10                   OPEN, 78th birthday on the 19th.
Oct-10      IA VRCC Ride

That ought to add some miles on MGM......... about 25,000........  I'll probably split them in half with the Trike.   Power Tour is definetly a Trike run, 3,800 miles there.

some good long weekends until my backside is ready for an 11 day trip starting in Minnesota, wearing out a set of tires in Colorado, and then back at the end of June and beginning of July.

and then whatever I can get away with

most of the organized rides I'd like to hit fall on my weekends to work, so I'll just have to freelance.

To add an international feel;
May - VRCC France Inzane 4
August - VRCC Austria 10 year anniversary
September - VRCC Ireland, Down and Out Meeting
All we have to do is stay in work and decide which Valk to take. Life is good.

Sounds like a plan. I'll be riding down with a friend that for the past few years hasn't done a lot of riding. She works  Tuesday thru Saturday so I figured this would be a good ride ... less traffic &  people on Sunday.

If your route takes you through the Chicago area on 90/94 or 294/90 you may want to look at 80 west to 355 north. It may add some extra miles but it will be a lot less congested plus fewer tolls.

With a wife and 3 kids between ages 2 and 13, I don't get to do too many events. But I'm signed up for the Whiskey Run and really hope to make it.  Also hoping to make the CBR again.  Other than that, it is just whatever I can fit in.  Work is pretty slow right now and my hours have been cut 4 hrs per week.  Hoping to not get laid off, so money will be tight this year.  Plus, I've been spending some of my vacation days to make up for the cut in pay, so time off will be tight this year also.  Hopefully things will pick up. Undecided

Keep in mind that Roadwork will be on the 290/90 Expressway and all the way from post office  to Thorndale (Itasca) Expect long delays. If you do go the 80 to 355 you will still hit the merge but will probably be alot better. This year 80/94 may be a better option? going to LaCrosse. from the South anyway.

That route should read 80 West to 39 North to 90.

80 to 355 to 90 would also keep you west and be fewer miles but remember that 355 & 80 are toll roads.

Sorry about the confusion
