but I changed the background color to the light blue the first day of the new board.  Now when someone thinks it is cool to post in YELLOW, I can't read it.  What does it look like on the other color background?  Readable?

I am no expert for sure, but I think it was Willow that posted if you have a hard time seeing a post due to color. Just Highlite it and it comes right out. I have done this it works well. Thanks, Willow! JDW

Not just you, Lots of posts I couldn't read.
I changed to "SMF Default Theme - Core".

1. Select your profile.
2. Under "Modify Profile" select "Look and Layout Preferences"
3. Under "Current Theme", select the "Change" drop down.
4. Select the "SMF Default Theme - Core"
5. Scroll down and select "Change Profile".

I see what ya mean about yellow being hard to read Smiley
Just select and highlight the text and ya can read it.

i think LynDel came up with the highlight the words to see them better.

with the "default" scheme (dark grey background), i have no problems seeing posts in yellow. In fact, they are quite readable. Some have posted in BLACK letters...those....are a bit tougher to see on this dark background.....but still readable....

Using the gray background I have no trouble reading yellow text.

But, red text has proved very difficult for me to read.
