while i had the carburetors off the bike and apart for cleaning and re-jetting,   i lost one of the float hinge pins. tickedoff

only way i have found to get a new one is to order the entire float assembly, which is $40 or more.

does anyone have a extra pin.

until i get another pin i used a matching size drill bit cut to length, it works but i don't want to use it for long in case it corrodes

Nick,

Why would it corrode?  It’s not subjected to air and moisture.  Should be fine I think.  You can buy stainless steel craft wire at the craft store, or use brass, copper from electrical wire, there’s a lot of other options if you’re worried of corrotion.
