I just installed headlight modulators on my GW and made my first trip running them today. It was obvious the difference those things made in being noticed. Probably ticked some cagers off when they so readily yielded. Even had one pull off the road to let me by. I know there are mixed feelings about modulators but they work---and with today's highway environment anything that improves visibility is a good thing, IMHAO! If they only work once they're worth it. Now for installation on the Valk and any other bike in my future.

+1 on modulator. Perhaps the best money I've spent on MAGNUM,, not the most, but best!

I've had 2 kinds of responses from my headlight modulator. One is people will speed up and change lanes to put some vehicles between us, the other is people will pull over onto the shoulder and let me by. I'm going to put one on my Ninja 250 next.

Do NOT become complacent and think that the flashing light is a universal panacea. It isn't.
Make sure you still treat all other road users as if they wish to kill you.

Same here. I have rode in a group with the mod headlight behind me. Annoying as hell. I moved to the back of it. On coming cars even pulled over thinking it was an emergency vehicle coming toward them.

And that is why I don't like em, .... regardless if I am on my bike or in my truck/car. I know how annoying they can be and for some, it might be a reason to express their annoyed feelings back.

I can't stand to be in a group with someone behind me with the headlight modulators going Me too. That's why I turn mine off when I'm riding behind someone. Marty

I use mine in city traffic, on empty roads, but not on freeways. No point in annoying them.

Should be used with discretion as a saftey appliance. Have one on my tourer, want one for my sidecar rig.
