There is no gasoline drain hose, save those at the float bowl drain on each carburetor. Since you haven't screwed with the float bowl drain screws there should be absolutely no reason for gasoline to be emitting from a carburetor.

Look closer to the petcock.

What happens when the motor is off and the drain is in any of the three positions?

Your have a stuck carb float valve on the side of the OVERFLOW hose that is flowing gas.

My guess is your O-rings on the carb supply rails are dry. Mine have done that twice. The first time was the year I bought the bike and did some carb and tank work. the lines were dry for a couple of months. the second time was after a long nasty winter, meaning this year.
I put a rag beneath the leaks and opened and closed the petcock (supplied my own vacume) to keep the O-rings wet but to eliminate the
Pressure from the tank. After a couple of daus no leak.
Of course the answer is to replace the O-rings. Red-eye tech sells a kit.
That will be next winter for me, YMMV.

Yup. Chances are that's what it is.
Happened to me a few years back, turned out I had a LOT of trash & rust in the tank & carb bowls. Number 4 carb was the one that did the dirty deed. It stopped leaking on it's own but later it caused the dreaded hydrolock. A complete carb clean out & having the tank cleaned & coated was the solution in my case.

The same happend to me as well.
I emptied the bowls tapped ever so slightly on them and started it back up same thing.
The quick fix was ( Frustration set in ) I took a rubber mallet and beat the Heck on the left side engine guard and it stoped leaking.  I guess the float came un stuck.
After a few weeks I took the carbs out and cleaned everything up.
Good luck.
