My Valk riding compadres; Dave Montgomery (gimped due to childhood polio), Kickstand (one prosthetic leg due to a M/C vs car incident), and me (Momz w/multiple issues) rode again today.
Rode from my house in Dearborn Hts. to the village of Northville via EN Hines Dr. for the ultimate 3.99 breafast.
Then on to Seven Mile Rd. to Pontiac Trial, to North Territorial, to Hankerd Rd (twisties), to Patterson Lk Rd, to Unadilla Rd (more twisties) and through the historic village of Unadilla. We took it north to North Territorial Rd (twisties again) and headed west to M52.
We headed south to Chelsea, and stopped for coffee, conversation, and the endless parade of M/Cs riding up and down M52.
We left the coffee shop to visit the world famous "Purple Rose Theater", then on to Dexter-Chelsea Rd, into the village of Dexter, then on to Dexter-Pinkney Rd. to North Territorial and headed east into Plymouth Mi. We picked up Ann Arbor Trail easrbound to Haggerty north and back to EN Hines Dr. and we all split up on EN Hines to head to our respective abodes.
A ride of about 170 miles,...not to shabby for three old codger-gimps and only an hour notice beforehand. All in all a great ride.
