if I am, I hope Willow and Scott forgive me  Smiley

I desperately need YOUR help (by you, I mean all of you).  As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Lupus last year.  This cause has become very personal to me.  The more I find out about it, the more it scares me.

I am coordinating a Lupus Walk in September.  The first thing I need to do is raise $500 so that the national office will build my web page to get things going.  I am also kind of thinking of maybe a ride in, or a poker run, or something sometime during the summer, August maybe?  Not sure yet.

Anyway the main site is www. lupus.org, you can find out all about what they do, read up on Lupus and all about the ugly statistics.

As of now, Louisiana has no events on their list of walks and I want to change that.

Here's the part I don't particularly like, we need money....money for research and support services.

If you so desire to help me out, you can send a check or money order to the national office, I do not need to have it sent to me.

The address is:

Lupus Foundation of America, Inc.  P.O. Box 631047 Baltimore, MD 21263-1047

No amount is too small, or too large.  Please mention that it is for the Louisiana walk in September, so we get credit for it.

Thanks for your support  angel

Sugarbee,

I am very sorry to hear that news, my younger sister has Lupus and it took several years to get a diagnosis on her. I have been offering to organize events ride, walks but she is very reserved when it comes to that sort of thing. Stress brings on flai ups for her, so i do not press the issue, I do donate to the foundation on her behalf.

When I make my donation I will try and double up the amount and put it towards your cause.

In the mean time, I will send prayers...and positive waves.

Thank you so much!  I know, it has taken a long time to finally understand what has been making me feel so bad.  I think that is common.

Hope we see you somewhere on the road!

I did not know you have Lupas Donna. A good friend of ours and a cousin of mine have Lupas. Sorry to hear it. Best wishes from me and Carolyn.
