I desperately need YOUR help (by you, I mean all of you). As some of you know, I was diagnosed with Lupus last year. This cause has become very personal to me. The more I find out about it, the more it scares me.
I am coordinating a Lupus Walk in September. The first thing I need to do is raise $500 so that the national office will build my web page to get things going.
I am also kind of thinking of maybe a ride in, or a poker run, or something sometime during the summer, August maybe? Not sure yet.Anyway the main site is www. lupus.org, you can find out all about what they do, read up on Lupus and all about the ugly statistics.
As of now, Louisiana has no events on their list of walks and I want to change that.
Here's the part I don't particularly like, we need money....money for research and support services.
