I've got a lot of play in my clutch handle. So much so that it doesn't engage the clutch switch.

I've replaced the bushing (below part #2) but that doesn't seem to fix the problem. Is it common for the busing within the handle (#15) to wear out? I can't seem to press that small brass bushing out otherwise i could mic it.

Get a pair of Kuryakin wide blade levers. You won't regret it.

Same here.
The stock handle is a fairly inexpensive item.  Cool

+1! You can get the levers made for the 1800 Wing for about $40 shipped. They look fantastic and are adjustable.

Are the wing levers wider than the stock Valk ones?  Sort of like the Kury's?

Yes.  I have them on both my Valks, and like them very much.  You do need to grind off one tab on the clutch side.  Takes about a minute.
