I'm trying to find a picture of an extremely long, extremely heavy motorcycle that I believe was powered by a Ford V-8. It was pre-Boss Hoss, probably from the sixties. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

I remember the bike your describing I think it was actually called the thing or something there of, there were two made and as far as I know both were junked.
If its the one I am thinking of it was made from all kinds of parts, cars and other things.

I think we're on the same page. The thing was huge and had auto suspension. I can't remember if they guy ever rode it, or not.

Were you thinking about Wild Bill Gelbke's Roadog? It was powered by a 4-cylinder Chevy engine, I think from a Nova. I think Buzz Walneck owns it now. I would attach a photo but I don't know how to do it here.

Saw a picture of one just like you described and it is pictured at Deals Gap in the Dining Area.
He was on the thing riding it.

That's it! Thanks. A mossback biker sent me that email of all the unusual bikes that's going around. I don't know if he's ever seen the Roadog and I wanted to send it to him.

After the pic on the dragon, I want a vid of it jumping a couple buses.
What do you figure...... a hundred twenty foot turning radius?
The word monstrosity comes to mind.

3280 lbs, 17' long. One of you math guys will have to figure the turning radius. I'm more of a Google Guy than a Math Guy... Featuring a 126 inch wheelbase, and a length of over 17 feet, the massive bike had a turning radius of 110 feet. Here's some more info on them: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RoadogAnd I've said it before, I'll say it again... I've got a hell of a lot more respect for that builder and that bike then for a whole truck load of OCC or West Coast Choppers or any other so-called "custom" bikes ya' see these days...
