Do you mean this.....   if so, I can't see a need for it when a C-Clamp would work to break the bead, IF I didn't have my HF Tire Changer (w/bead breaker) available.    When would you use this??  On the road?

If it is the one in the picture above, then, Yes, I use it a lot. I have three bikes, and this will break the bead on any of them in about a minute or so. Only thing easier is that I taught my son how to use this on my last scooter tire change. cooldude

I was just looking at options available for breaking the bead.  I actually used the C-clamp method last night, worked great.

Can you tell anything from my picture why I couldn't do it that way? I started with one clamp, and gave up after four. I use the "Raymond method" now...
