Well, I was hoping to get her to announce it but you're right.  Our little Rhonda decided to announce on her Facebook page she is getting hitched.

O'K the cats out of the bag! I was not looking for someone but I have accepted that Steve is gone and that he would want me to move on. I  was introduced to Craig by my Pastor and we instantly clicked. He is a wonderful man and Noah approves which was very important to me and he even told Craig he promised his dad he would take care of me. Craig is a doctor but if you met him on the street you would think he worked in construction. He's not "uppity" as I put it. He loves to hunt and fish, drives a truck but most important he's made me happy again. We've only known each other a short time but it feels like forever and we both have said we would be hard pressed to come up with a argument why we shouldn't be together. He has been very supportive of what Noah and I have been thru and understands that Steve is a part of me that is not going away. When I told him when I die Im to be buried next to Steve he asked if he could be buried on the other side. Steve's parents are happy for me and his sister Kathy has met Craig and she is very happy for me also. I more than anyone now know how short life is  and how what you hold close to you can be gone in a instant so I don't take anything for granted. When Craig asked me to marry him I said yes. We are getting married November 24th in Hawaii which is Thanksgiving break so Noah won't miss school. Craig and Noah are developing a good relationship and Craig knows he can never replace Steve but cares for him alot. He took Noah out the other night and worked with him on his driving and let him drive his new Corvette which I thought was brave but Noah loved it. Noah and I are looking forward to seeing everyone at the Whiskey Run and I have told Craig he is more than welcome and I know you all would welcome him. Thank you all for being happy for me and I Love Each and Everyone of You.

Congrats Rhonda and Craig!  cooldude Smiley I joined this board just before Steve's accident and I never got a chance to meet him. However, the way this board reacted and pulled together impressed me beyond believe. cooldude I was glad to get to finally meet you last year at InZane where you truly showed your class and heart.  Smiley I, for one, am thrilled for you and wish you all the best of luck. I look forward to meeting Craig and I believe, it has already been said by others, but Craig better take good care of you, or else!!!  coolsmiley  tickedoff By the way Craig, no pressure man!  Wink Congrats, again! They may be a need for a fast car to haul the shine!

Of course he'd be more then welcome to tag along however it may be, 2 wheels or that little 500 hp grocery getter.

I'm new enough here that I never met Steve, but instead have gleaned some about him from the posts about him by some. I've been impressed with the class and strength you've shown in all you've had to go through and am glad you saw and took an opportunity to be happy again. Big Congrats to You and Steve as well as Noah.  cooldude
